(Jan. 12, 2012) Two exploration companies continue to show results in this area.
Murgor Resources has completed a 600-line kilometer helicopter borne VTEM survey on its Moose Lake Mineral Exploration Licences about 40 kilometers south of the Snow Lake Mining District in Manitoba. Company President Andre Tessier says the MooseLake property covers a large, virtually unexplored area of very favorable ground in the Flin Flon belt. He says more exploration work will follow once they receive and interpret the final results of the survey.
Meanwhile St. Eugene Mining Corporation reports they continue to get consistent exploration results from the Amisk Gold Joint Venture Project near Denare. One drill hole showed 6.24 grams of gold per tonne and 23.5 grams of silver over 12 meters as well as zinc and lead readings. Another drill hole confirmed continuity of gold mineralization within the southeastern portion of the deposit as well as demonstrated the potential for expansion to the east and southeast. Twenty holes were drilled during the fall program.
