The Opaskwayak Cree Nation Income Assistance and the Manitoba Construction Sector are taking applications for a job readiness program. The program is designed to meet the needs of skills laborers and will ensure that trainees understand the work culture and are for committed to long term employment in construction. Some of the programs include Stress and Time management, Budgeting skills, and Professionalism in the Workplace. After the program has been completed graduates will be placed in a 2 to 4 week internship with one on one mentorship. Program start date and application deadline is Monday.
